Patterns of sound wave vibrations. Cymatics is the science of making sound vibrations visible. It’s believed that sound shapes and affect physical matter. When a sound comes in contact with skin, sand, water or metal, the sound imprints an invisible pattern of vibrations (energy) on that surface.
